Fashion Maven's "Layers of Blog"
There is layered cake ...

... layered parfaits ...

... and layered salads.

And lest we forget, there is also layered lasagna ...

... and the ever popular 7 Layer Bean dip

But this blog is not about food. It's about clothes. Lets Go!
FM: "Sometimes you wear layers for fashion, and sometime you wear layers for warmth. For example, a long sleeved shirt over a short-sleeved dress would be an example of fashion."
But when we searched for the above online, we had little success. "They so don't get this!" screamed the Fashion Maven, as would any true artist who feels thwarted in her vision**
(**FM's secretary took a bit of hyperbolic license with her tone--not to say her words--in the above description.)
However, intrepid as ever, FM decided to take matters into her own hands and took time from her busy schedule to model said-style.

We decided to change our search to "long sleeved shirt under a short-sleeved dress." Fashion gold!

FM: "These pictures are some examples. All of these people are very good fashion thinkers because they have thought about fashion style. I very much like the one that has the blue dress over the black shirt with the black sunglasses on and the purse that she is carrying. I think her husband (or somebody else) took a picture of her. It looks like she is very nice and kind."
Why are layers important? asked when avid reader?
FM: "Because you can be warm in the winter and pretty in the summer."
Follow-up question: But wouldn't layers make you too hot in the summer?
FM: "If you put a very skinny long-sleeve shirt under your dress in the summer, you wouldn't get hot, but you could take it off. Why I wear layers is because I have to, because it's still cold in Colorado, and I decided I should wear long sleeves because it was cold in the morning ...

... but heated up in the afternoon."

Another reader asked: "Do layers have to be the same color?"
FM responded with a resounding, "No they do not! Because if you just do them the same color, it would be very hard to find that exact same color at Costco. "
Q: What about layers for men?
FM: "Men can layer short sleeve shirts under a long sweater because my papa wears it all the time, and if he wears layers, then anyone can wear layers."
FM: "In closing, layers can be used by any person, and if you notice, this is the end of our story."
